I’m not going to retell the plot. But I do want to mention that I finally found a film about the epidemic in the context and with the problem shown on the scale I wanted to see. This is not a group of nine «tourists» wandering the paths of distant regions of our homeland in search of shelter. This is a real pandemic which is developing at high speed, that’s why the film was not only very watchable and widespread, but also very dynamic, with original storyline and visual elements which I had never seen in any other film, even in the later ones, despite the popularity of the topic.
And here’s the other plus point. In this work of director Mark Forster we see the story from the beginning to its logical end, and even if the finale was not a very «happy ending», the film itself turned out to be absolutely complete. The end was something like the end of the first Terminator movie, when «the storm is coming», which allowed us to finish the rest of the story.
