A film for those who like complex, twisted, convoluted plots. The action takes place at different times. As they say, «a mixture of time layers».
Plot: War veteran Jack Starks is recovering from a head wound. He returns to his home state of Vermont, but the wound makes itself felt with bouts of amnesia…
Why The Jacket? The jacket is a common straitjacket. It was the name of the American novel from which the movie was made.
The acting duo, played by Andrien Brody and Keira Knightley, were on point. They are believable.
What I concluded:
1. We live to overcome obstacles. A person can change everything in life!
2. Sometimes real life begins after we find out the date of our death. Only then do we realize how good life is.
The ending inspires optimism. The last minutes are filled with sunshine, light and love.
