A SWAT team led by a tough but fair soldier, Major Dutch Schaefer, is ordered to assist a CIA officer, Colonel Al Dillon, in an operation to rescue potential survivors from a helicopter shot down over a remote South American jungle. Shortly after landing, Dutch and his team discover that they have been sent under false pretenses.
