First of all, we remember the plot. It seems that this theme was used more than once: a young man confined to a wheelchair and a charming provincial nurse… But no, for me the story of their love was not the main theme of the film. Although the development of their relationship is rather touching.
What stuck with me was something else. The main character doesn’t choose to live an invalid life. He decides to resort to euthanasia and measures six months for himself. How do the parents accept this choice? How does the woman he loves and loves accept this choice? And how to live those six months?
I expected a different ending… I won’t reveal it, in case someone (like me until recently) hasn’t heard anything about this movie yet. Check it out for sure.
The movie is beautiful to watch visually. Great cast of actors. Admittedly I don’t like Emilia Clarke, but here her comically vivid eyebrows just saved me from feeling too much emotion and emotion. If it wasn’t for them I probably would have choked with pain and empathy for the characters.
